As a photographer, I'm drawn to these quiet, minimalist scenes. The choice to use a very shallow depth of field here was deliberate. I wanted to blur the dock in the foreground, turning it into a soft, abstract shape that leads your eye into the frame without distracting you. The real story is in the middle ground: the crisp detail of the buoy and the incredible, silvery texture of the water's surface under the bright, overcast sky. It's an attempt to capture not just what a place looks like, but what it feels like—calm, quiet, and perfectly still
