A Layered History
Description
If you look closely at the gravel and the grime, you can see the layers of a conversation that has lasted for years. The fresh blue "SHR" tags sit atop older, fading ghosts of past artists. It’s a low-stakes war for visibility in a place that feels invisible. The rigid geometry of the concrete bridge and the perfectly parallel power lines provide a stark, mathematical contrast to the wild, hand-styled curves of the graffiti. It is where the planned city meets the spontaneous city, and neither side is willing to back down.
